Fate

Fate--- tricky business talking Fate---we dont know Fate---we label certain things as Fated--- we Blame Fate---and the hard stuff is accepting Fate. What is Fate and what is Choice? If one believes in Astrology--in ones birth chart---Fate is there---circling around the Wheel of our Lives always---. An astrologer will look to the nodes of the Moon----the point where the eliptic of the Sun and the Moon cross.
There stands Fate. Karma. Are they one and the Same? The Fates are known as Clotho the Spinner----Lachesis the Measurer---Athropos the Cutter---symbolic of the Triple Moon Goddess.Barbara Walker in her book Myths and Secrets says "if the Weavers could be induced not to cut the thread of Life at a perilous moment, the individual could be spared." One does have a say as to their destiny---and this is foretold in ones birth chart. The Law of Karma---for every action there is an equal opposite re-action. Choice.
The Moon touches us personally---emotionally---the Moon Re-Minds us. The Moon is melancholy----bittersweet---and the Moon is Longing. It can Inspire and Comfort and it can fill one with a sense of dread. I think its the Beauty---the Beauty that fills one with Awe or Dread. The Beauty that Re-Minds us of how little Time---how Finite it all seems to be. The Moon and her Beauty can lead us to the crossroads--to face the Fates----we may accept or deny-----To accept willingly---with integrity--- our Fate ---one may be spared. The Saturn piece.
Ones birth chart tells such a story of past present future ----ones Fate. The Key I think is Saturn. Our birthchart is a blueprint---every degree ---every planet is who we are. Saturn is our acceptance of our limitations--our ability to Be responsible----to accept full responsibility for our actions----and the equal and opposite Re-Action.

synchronicity

Full Moon on Friday---and Mercury going retrograde----and synchronicity abounds. Its not just me---- i hear it everywhere! and what is going on? The planet Uranus rules synchronicity--and Mercury---and the Moon channels this energy depending on her sign and aspects. The New Moon in Taurus certainly grounds the Energy--Taurus Time is the most Earthy of the signs. The opposition of Saturn and Uranus has cooled a bit--for the moment--so this gives Uranus full reign-----I like to think of him looking down at our blue planet sending Electric Blue Light Rays---magic rays they are---full of Truth ----Cosmic Law. These moments happen at the crossroads of Time and Space--when we are fortunate enough to be in the right place----Magic Happens--and we are left with a feeling of awe---of being connnected to something bigger and beautiful---it leaves us with Hope and the feeling that Anything is possible! The Full Moon in Scorpio may intensify our feelings---- and can lead us out of the box---- into the moonlit Scorpio night where Magic surely abounds if we dare! Pay attention--ask for what you want. Mercury retro can confuse things--but Mercury the Trickster is all for fun and games---- take it lightly and let the Energy flow!

Venus and Mars

A conjunction of Venus and Mars today is the beginning of a dance that continues through the Summer Solstice Time---and today joined by the mystical poetic Pisces Moon. If weather permits you may see the Moon in the pre dawn hours tomorrow pass over Venus---like the Magicians sleight of hand--- there one moment and gone the next--only to magically return---- a sight to see! that is the Key to this Venus/Mars conjunction---Magic---Mystery---Possibilites. Pluto the ruler of Scorpio-and the Lord of the Underworld is applying to both Venus and Mars late in April and early May This infuses the aspect with Might---and Intensity. Confusion---even paranoia may come bubbling up from the depths of ones psyche----one must allow the energy to move---go where it takes you---No Fear---Look at what is being felt---then release. Easy to say----Plutonian power works on energy levels we dont really even have a name for---Life Force at its Core/Kore---Instinctual----the Key to the Great Mystery? the Magic Potion contained within DNA that we cannot comprehend---.
Venus and Mars are personal--we live them everyday----the Goddess and the Warrior--their meeting in late degrees of Pisces is Soulful---and like a dream---its a blending that is felt in ones Heart----to qoute Joseph Campbell "Life is sorrowful and Perfect Rapture"--- that is the late Piscean theme of this Venus/Mars conjunction, add Pluto and you can go to the extreme---or have Vision. Let Life Flow----
Embrace it. Magic is afoot with Venus and Mars--its the Sacred Marriage, Alchemy---

Venus and Pluto

Venus and Pluto are having a conversation of sorts---its not like having tea--its more like talking to your neighbor over the fence. Not too cozy---but cordial---. Venus retrograde and Pluto retrograde tomorrow--impossible to read the gestures--the eyes wont give it away--but there is Much going on inside. This energy is vulnerable and volatile--unrest--uneasy---Un-Sure. Ones comfort zone is not! this is a bit of a quick hit---and once again in May---but dont be fooled--this is heavy Medicine. Its as if the parts dont fit like they are suppose too--unhinged maybe---cant go back----dont really feel like going forward. Limbo. Relationships that are working can gain real insight with this transit---its baring ones soul--bare to the bones---if one dares. those that are Not working so well---Well---its dicey---alot of hard work can do wonders--but the real deal is honesty--and authenticity---and what does one require to Feel Comfort? Pluto instills the urge to get what one needs----Venus may be still on the fence---but shes getting there---by the time Venus goes direct on the 17th of April---what one requires not only in relationship--but with oneself should be more clear---powered by the energy of Pluto---great changes may be on the horizon--these may not manifest untill later in the year--as Pluto goes direct in September.
Venus/Pluto can also be Hot! they can sizzle---for good or for not so good!
cozying up to the one you Love can set off the fireworks! great way to channel this energy! Beware the energy when dealing with someone who pushes your buttons--best to walk away and confront on another day--dont take it personal. Whatever is being shown or acted out is always a message for the observer--dare to see the Truth and youve worked this transit like a charm.

My first blog post--and I want to thank you Michele my dear friend for your "About Me" for me-----you are a Gift!
Musing on Venus for these past few days-----in retrograde and soon to appear in the pre dawn sky as Morning Star Venus----the memories that flash across the screen of old lovers--old friends---places i have lived in in the past--- feeling for an instant that i am there----money coming and going and coming again! letters and photographs---looking in the mirror and asking "is that me?" is this Venus retro----is Venus doing some kind of mojo? or am I more aware because I know Venus is retrograde? the unknown---the Mystery of astrology----we know it works, but not sure How. Is it all just to make one aware--we are only measuring one little particle of the Universe---and what if we didnt have a name for Venus---she was just the brightest Star----? Would we give her Power to another---? Who would be our Love Goddess?
and would another work? do the job?
What is the power of retrograde? Venus only appears to be moving backward from our perspective---but surely her Power has intensified. Why is the past returning in such lovely fashion? Many who are born with Venus in retrograde hold on tenaciously to what they have fought for and finally feel they have won---earned--- and that same energy is abundant now---allowing one to say oh yeah "thats me!" Are we happy with the image? Venus retro gives us the go ahead to make changes---to Remember. Long ago an Enlightened One--an Astrologer! looked up at the heavens and saw the brightest Star---and named her Venus---the Goddess of Love---and her energy came alive! that is the Way--
